About Us
At Crescendo Arts Collective, we believe that every voice, every note, and every stage of musical growth matters.
Based in Kansas City, Crescendo Arts Collective is a vibrant, inclusive music organization that produces performances, fosters collaboration with composers and artists, and provides high-quality music education.
We serve students of all ages, from children to adults, offering opportunities to discover the joy of music, develop artistic skills, and grow both as musicians and individuals. Our programs include private and group instruction across a variety of instruments, a dynamic youth choir, and community-centered music events that bring together students, families, and professional artists.
In addition, we produce music festivals for young musicians and contemporary artists, as well as summer camps that blend creativity, learning, and fun in inspiring, collaborative environments.
Crescendo means “growing stronger,” and that is at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to nurturing passion, confidence, and connection through the power of music. Whether you are just beginning your musical journey or pursuing music at a professional level, Crescendo Arts Collective is a place where you will be supported, challenged, and inspired.

Founder & Artistic Director
Yunfei Li is the Founder and Artistic Director of Crescendo Arts Collective, a Kansas City–based music organization dedicated to growth, creativity, and collaboration through music education and performance. A composer with a background rooted in both Eastern and Western musical traditions, she brings a broad artistic perspective to her work as an educator, curator, and community leader, and her music has been presented on national and international stages. Crescendo Arts Collective was founded from her belief that music fosters empathy, aesthetic awareness, cognitive and early literacy development, attention, and creativity, and that communities thrive when people of all ages have access to meaningful musical experiences. Through Crescendo, she is committed to building inclusive programs, producing high-quality performances, and creating spaces where children, families, and artists grow together through music and creativity.
